Drawing has been a part of my life since I was a child. When I was a student at Cardiff College of Art in the 60s, it was considered an essential part of our work.
During a long period with family commitments, I had little or no time for painting, but continued to draw. Now that I am working full time as a visual artist, I find that, in addition to information gathering, drawing / mark making is increasingly important in my finished work.
