Born in Newport, Gwent. Attended Cardiff Art College from 1979 - 1983. Foundation Studies and Graphic design.
Spent 6 years in Advertising and Design Agencies, loved the work, loathed the lack of creative freedom. After leaving to have children I set up in business as an Artist. My favourite medium is pastels, I put it down to a lack of patience. I've always had a thing for them since school, although in school they were mostly grit with a bit of pigment thrown in. Nowadays they are manufactured to a much higher standard, a joy to use. At the moment I combine personal projects, commissions and teaching at Howardian - Adult Education Classes in Life Drawing, Painting and Drawing and Pastel Workshop.
